Elixir Metal Works began in 1969 as a family sheet-scrap business, supplying loose scrap to the re-rolling mills of the region and storing it at our yard in Mewat, Haryana — the same single stockyard that every consignment leaves from today. The business grew the way dependable ones do — by delivering what we said we would, weighed fairly and documented properly.
Baler investment followed, and with it came denser material and better control over contamination. That control is what brought us to foundries. SG (ductile) iron and grey iron melts are unforgiving about residuals, coating and moisture, so we learned to grade for the melt rather than for the weighbridge.
Today we supply CRC baled scrap and sheet cutting scrap (busheling) to more than two hundred foundries across India. What has not changed is the discipline: inspect every lot, segregate by grade, weigh it honestly and send the paperwork with the truck.

In-house baling lets us supply dense, low-residual charge material instead of loose scrap, and changes the kind of customer we can serve.
A focus on foundries
We begin supplying CRC baled scrap and sheet cutting busheling to SG (ductile) iron and grey iron foundries across Haryana and the neighbouring states.
Consolidated into one stockyard
The business comes together at a single stockyard in Mewat, Haryana, with a dedicated weighing station and covered storage that sharpen grade control and keep material out of the weather.
Pan-India dispatch
Road and rail despatch extends our supply into foundry clusters in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
